Toena Publishing House

Toena Publishing House started its activity on Janury 1993 with a staff of only 3 members. Today, we have a wide range of over 100 collaborators from the fields of the Albanian culture, education and science.

From the very first day of its foundation, Toena has published over 1000 books by the most renowned scholars. These scholars have experience in scientific and university institutions. Toena has aslo published informative books, publications from the field of history and national heritage, methods for teaching foreign languages, dictionaries of all kinds, handbooks for the specialists and experts, Albanian and foreign fiction, and even several albums and maps. Mr. Rexhep Qosja, who is a high-ranking writer, has granted Toena the exclusive right for publishing all of his works in the Albanian language. As far as the children’s books of fiction are concerned, Toena publishes 60 books on a year basis. At this time it publishes over 130 publications yearly, which is one book every 2-3 days.
