Suportis

Since 2011, as a formal group, we were actively involved (organizing and participating) in more than 30 EU youth projects and programs such as Youth in Action and Erasmus. As per now, starting with 2014 we work as a non-governmental association known as SUPORTIS FOR BETTER.

Suportis represents a partnership for action, at a local and international level, with the goal to create various opportunities for a harmonious development of young people and the communities they are part of.

Values that we share are:
Freedom, friendship, courage, creativity, efficiency and fairness.

Our main goal is to stimulate and support the active participation of young people in educational, social, cultural, ecology and economic fields.

We have the following objectives:
- To create networks and communities that will gather young people interested in social, cultural, educational, ecological, economical topics;
- To develop a counselling, educational and well updated process of young people in a European context;
- To provide support, information and social assistance to disadvantaged and marginalized young people;
- To stimulate the developing of NGOs sector through activities which will increase their involvement in decisional process and in promoting democracy, freedom, justice, responsibility and solidarity;
- To intensify cross-border projects, especially the ones that imply young people from Romania, European Union and East Partners.

We strongly believe that people and communities as a whole are able to solve most of their problems using their own forces and resources. Together through collaboration and cooperation we can achieve a lot of beautiful things. Our organization wants to become that necessary impulse for positive social changes in the future.
