Sports School PESG

PESG Sports School is an institution for adult education based in Zagreb, founded in 2001 and focused on the development, harmonization and implementation of programs according to European and national guidelines and identified needs of market. At the national level, we contribute to raising the quality of life by building the individual skills needed for easier access to the labor market and easier inclusion.

We implement programs for the acquisition of secondary education for children focused on sports and the development of professional sports careers. In addition, for many years we have been developing and implementing retraining, training and advanced training programs, foreign language learning approved of the Ministry of Science and Education. We also conduct other non-formal trainings for youth.

We are focused on strengthening individual competencies and adapting to the current needs, and we independently designed and implemented more than 100 different programs, which included more than 2,400 people in various educational sectors (health sector, sustainable development, economic sector through raising entrepreneurial competencies and other specific competencies of the individual ...).

All our employees are academically educated, and most of them have completed the additional necessary education to work with adult students and have necessary pedagogical competencies. The institution has modern digital equipment, computers, smart boards, projectors and other digital aids for modern teaching, and we have also developed our own platform for online teaching in hybrid form.

We also tend to strengthen socially vulnerable groups with a constant emphasis on overcoming social barriers and prejudices.

We have placed special emphasis on the female population of minorities because they are discriminated on several levels.
Working on projects and according to an innovative approach, the PESG Sports School modernizes educational programs that are market-oriented and in line with economic needs with an emphasis on sports, environmental entrepreneurship, necessary digital development, thus contributing to creating a quality workforce as a prerequisite for quality and competitiveness. We also make a strong contribution to promoting lifelong learning that allows an individual developing and improving their employability.

PESG also strongly works at the improvement and harmonization of educational needs according to strategic documents and recommendations at the national and European level and we are actively focused on developing entrepreneurial competencies, necessary competencies for green economy and sustainable economy and other necessary entrepreneurial skills.
PESG advocates for easier inclusion and employability of marginalized groups, with an emphasis on vulnerable groups, and as an educational institution, contributes to all of it.
According to the fact that digitalization is a necessary element in the development of educational programs, PESG has included, for many years, digital technology as a necessary tool that contributes to easier implementation of teaching, and through projects we have been improving our teaching for many years by implementing a hybrid teaching model that significantly improves the lives, especially of marginalized people. It facilitates their decision about education.
Through EU projects, we analyse, develop and implement educational programs that contribute to the development of the educational sector at the national and European level.
