Sociedade de Historia Natural

The Natural History Society is a scientific nonprofit organization that conducts research in the field of vertebrate paleontology, particularly in the Portuguese Upper Jurassic. We are looking to participate in our activities, from excavations, work in a laboratory of paleontology and management of paleontological collections. Our project aims to include people who have an interest in this scientific area, thus promoting a unique experience of personal and collective development, and also to raise awareness of the evolution of life on earth and the ecosystems of the past. The areas of operation will be diverse, from paleontological excavations, works in the laboratory of paleontology, use geographic information technologies and development of knowledge about tools used in paleontological studies.
