Slobozia Secondary School

Slobozia Gymnasium School is an educational establishment located in a rural area not very far from the city, which has three structures: Slobozia Secondary School, Slobozia Primary School and Schitu Stavnic Primary School. Including a total of 516 students and 45 employees, of which 37 teachers, the others working as supporting staff and non-teaching staff, Slobozia Gymnasium School operates on well-established principles particularly promoting the equality of chances regardless if it concerns Roma pupils, pupils which come from disadvantaged families or the ones having a poor social-economic situation.

The loss of cultural identity

The project aims to thoroughly study the traditions of young Roma people in our community and to try to bring back their somewhat lost cultural identity.
