Sinapsis
Sinapsis is a non-profit organisation based in Barcelona working since 2007.
Our fields of interest and expertise are collaborative artistic practices which enable citizenship cultural participation through arts.
We have developed our work together with different institutions such as museums, art centres, city halls, schools, youth centres and communities.
Over the years, we have offered research, consultancy, project development, artistic mediation programmes and training services.
We understand our activity in relation and conversation with artistic mediation, community culture, artistic education, contemporary arts and culture.
Out of this interest, we have created Polièdrica.cat, a self-managed communication platform for independent thinking on arts and citizenship.
We are interested in the creation, production and training of cultural workers and organizations on artistic mediation and participatory arts.
