Oure Sports & Performing Arts

Oure College of Sports & Performing Arts is a unique boarding school project based in the heart of Denmark. It contains three schools: Oure Boarding School, Danish lower-secondary school with 9th grade and 10th grade. Oure Gymnasium, Danish upper-secondary school with 1.G through 3.G. The students aged 16-20 are here prepared for higher level academic educations. Oure Academy, for students over 18. The academy offers both educations in various sports and performing arts at instructor level, as well as a preschool for educations in performing arts.
The schools stand out by combining academics with sports and performing arts at the highest level. The modern campus provides a challenging and stimulating environment for the 950 students aged 14 to 25 attending the schools.
The values Oure College of Sport and Performing Arts swears to are founded in The European Enlightenment. Democracy and human rights are the offsets, which settles in ethic reflections, justice and fairness, dialogue and mutual respect.
The three common goals for all students at Oure Campus is to achieve higher learning through academic studies, to achieve their full potential in the sports or performing arts of their choice and through that to become competent and responsible citizens of the world who can contribute to solving the global challenges of the future. Since founding in 1987 more than 70,000 students and course participants have shared these three goals.

With a foundation in Danish and Scandinavian school tradition, Oure College of Sport & Performing Arts is an independent non-profit school with a strong set of values – a so-called “free school”. These are acknowledged by the Danish state, and are part of the official Danish education system.
