OMIX RIBADAVIA

The Youth House, where the Youth Information Municipal Office (OMIX) is, belongs to the City Council of Ribadavia, a public entity working in Riberiro, the traditional wine-yard region of Galicia. The main aim of the Youth House and the OMIX is to create policies allowing an active participation of youth in the social, economic, political and cultural development of our town. Our activities include information visits to local schools, informal talks about opportunities to young people, creation of links with European organisations, preparation of YiA projects, support the organisation of local events, counselling local young people to promote the creation of organisations, etc. The Youth House has 3 floors which include a computer room, an exhibition room, a room for videos and a room for the daily work of organisations. Staff of the Youth House: 1 full-time worker (responsible for the Youth House and OMIX) and the EVS mentor.
