LAM Foundation

The LAM Foundation has been dedicated to farmer training and rural development in Covasna County since 1992, providing accredited agricultural and agrotourism education, practical training, and international exchange opportunities. Over the years, it has supported over 13,000 farmers and housewives, contributed to regional economic growth, and participated in numerous EU-funded projects, focusing on entrepreneurship, human resource development, and cultural heritage preservation.

Currently, the foundation is actively involved in the "Academia Competențelor Specifice pentru Angajații din Regiunea Centru" (PEO/SMIS311244) project, which aims to provide specialized training programs for employees in Romania’s Central Region, helping them develop essential skills for a competitive and sustainable labor market. Additionally, through the NGO Matches project, the foundation facilitates international cooperation and knowledge exchange among civil society organizations, strengthening their operational capacity and impact.

Participation in Successful and Ongoing Projects
Throughout the years, the LAM Foundation has actively participated in multiple national and EU-funded projects, either as an organizer or a partner, securing funding for initiatives that drive regional economic and social development. These include:

POSDRU (2007-2013, 2014-2020) – Social and economic integration projects.
Bethlen Gábor Alap – Strengthening Hungarian culture and entrepreneurship.
POCU – Human capital development and employment support.
AFIR – Rural development and agricultural funding.
Beyond these initiatives, the LAM Foundation continuously works to secure funding and launch projects that support social economy, innovation, professional training, and community development. Through its ongoing efforts, the foundation remains committed to empowering individuals, strengthening local businesses, and fostering sustainable regional growth.
