Ibn Haldun University

Ibn Haldun University (IHU) conducts groundbreaking studies in the field of social sciences by adopting innovation as an integral part of education, economy and sustainable development. IHU aims to be a reference point in Türkiye and the world by promoting high quality teaching, best practices and educational innovation.

Ibn Haldun University's pioneering role in this field is further strengthened by its mission to become a "University Specialising in Digital Social Sciences" in 2023, awarded by the Higher Education Board (YÖK). The university is conducting comprehensive studies to understand social life, which is rapidly being shaped by digital transformation, and to train qualified graduates in this field.

At the same time, IHU aims to contribute to environmental sustainability by adopting a new framework in line with green innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With the projects carried out within this framework, efforts are being made to leave a world worth living in for future generations.

In addition, IHU offers a unique international learning environment with its renowned faculty members and students from 81 different countries. While three languages - Turkish, Arabic and English - are compulsory at the university, students have the opportunity to improve their language skills by taking a wide range of elective language courses such as German, Spanish, Russian, French, Persian, Chinese and Malay.

IHU aims to stand out as a research institution in Turkey and the world with the quality of its education and research projects. IHU also attaches importance to producing knowledge through academic studies in various fields of social sciences and transferring this knowledge to the society.

In conclusion, Ibn Haldun University aims to provide its students with the knowledge and skills that will shape the future by combining values such as innovation, quality education and an international learning environment. With its mission to specialise in digital social sciences, IHU will continue to add value to both Türkiye and the world
