Hayat Boyu Eğitim ve Kişisel Gelişim Derneği(HEGEM)

HEGEM was founded in 2003, with the aim of working to support the continous education and training needs of the society, contributing to a society with a higher level of educational, cultural and social situation, sharing the information and knowledge accumulating in the universities with the society, creating new perspectives for problems of people and society and proposing solution alternatives.
HEGEM has the following activities to fulfil its mission:
- organizes congresses, symposiums, panels, seminars and conferences
- publishes scientific articles, books and other resources
- prepares periodic tv programmes
- works in cooperation with several institutions such as TBMM Violance Research Commission and Ministry of Justice on various subjetcs
- has training courses and certificate programmes
- establishes facilities for recreational, social, cultural, scientific and sports activities for the personal development of youth
- participates in international scientific, artistic, cultural project activities

HEGEM has 4 volunteer staff working at the moment. The target group is everyone with training needs, especially young people.
