Greenland Tourism & Business Council is Greenland's official industrial development enterprise and owned entirely by the Greenland Government.The company - formerly known as Greenland Tourism - was founded in 1992 with the primary aim to develop a viable tourism industry and market the adventures of Greenland. Today, the main target groups of the Greenland Tourism & Business Council are entrepreneurial self-starters and small companies in the field of land-based trade, industry and tourism. More recently, the company has started focusing on other industries with growth potential. The marketing of Greenland still plays an important role.
