Green Future Association

We are NGO “Green Future Association!
GFA is an independent, non-partisan and non-profit association of citizens founded in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of activating citizens for the protection of nature and the environment and improving the quality of life through advocacy, promotion and application of environmentally sound technologies and sustainable development.
We fully embrace the concept of social entrepreneurship in order to increase social inclusion and diversity by including marginalized groups in our projects, with an emphasis on working with young people from marginalized communities, but also with young people in general. Young people are full of potential and quick learners, so we believe it is best to support them in this important part of life and help them realize their full potential. Our goal is to give them the opportunity to develop their skills, expand their knowledge and improve their lives and the communities in which they live. Through formal and informal education, we want to unlock their hidden talents and empower them to become leaders in their own communities, while encouraging them to be active participants in our society. And of course, we want to provide them with wonderful and fun experiences that will create positive memories for a lifetime.
We cover a broad scale of topics according to what our target group find interesting (e.g. youth participation, ecology, environment, urban/rural development, volunteering, sustainable development, intercultural dialogue, active citizenship, entrepreneurship, sport, healthy lifestyle, peacebuilding, but also art and culture). All of our projects and activities are based on the approaches of non-formal education, experiential and intercultural learning, social inclusion and active participation.
Our team consists of several youth workers and youth leaders of various profiles. We are experienced in preparing/organizing and training in different kind of projects and events.
