Graduates Association of Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov

Graduates Association of Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov is a non-governmental organization founded in 2007. The mission of the organization is to establish long-term relationships between the University and its alumni.

The President of the Association is Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, the Leader of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The Organization has a number of goals. Particularly among them are:
• To promote implementation of educational and scientific programs;
• To share information and experience with similar organizations in Armenia and abroad;
• To support gifted students and junior specialists,
• To support the graduates and the students with the issues of employment.

According to the main mission the Association organizes different seminars, trainings, round-table discussions, fairs, workshops, on different topics and spheres of interest of the young people, trying to involve as much youth as possible, to make them more active and interested in the social, civic and cultural life, without taking into consideration any factors, i.e. social, political, religious, cultural views and background. Besides, the Association organizes meetings with the employers, career and job fairs, trying to present the demands of the current employers and the free vacancies. The main aim is to make them be more active, less isolated, more confident, raise awareness among the youth, give them the chance to be a member of a group, communicate with the others, get more knowledge, skills and experience, be tolerant, open-minded and sociable.
The organization consists of the President, Executive Director, Board, Accountant, Members and the volunteers.
The target group of the organization is the University students and graduates.
