GETHAM( Gaziantep Regional Industrial Design and Hybrid Modelling Centre)

GETHAM is an IPA project created jointly by the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce(Goverment) and Gaziantep KOSGEB(Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Promotion Administration - Goverment).
Since March 2018, GETHAM(Gaziantep Regional Industrial Design and Hybrid Modelling Centre) has been active with full equipment and 15 experts.
Our Mission:
To increase competitiveness of SMEs, foster innovation and promote design culture. GETHAM aims to improve the development of industrial design and product development capacities of SMEs (and the design/manufacturing industry in general) and entrepreneurs.
Our Vision:
Design is a driver for growth and prosperity with social and financial responsibilities. We want to make Gaziantep and whole region one of the epicentres of national design and innovation environment.
GETHAM is a unit in which the idea is entered and output as a product. The entire sub-structure consists of 4 units of GETHAM which are carefully constructed.
GETHAM Units;
1-GETHAM Studio:
-Design Consultancy (mainly design management);
-Design Brokerage/Mediation;
-New product development
-Design Training.
2-GETHAM Factory:
-Machinery Rental/Execution;
-Prototype/Product Testing.
3-GETHAM Agency:
-Marketing and Communication Consultancy +Brokerage/Mediation;
-Events Organisation/Management (Exhibition/Fairs
-Coordination and B2B Events
-corporate identity studies of firms
-Marketing/Communications Training.
4-GETHAM Start-Ups:
-Design,R&D and ınnovation base start-ups
-Office rental (2 year occupancy – 1st year free*);
-Shared property rights/royalties.
*In case of passing through the GETHAM election committee

4 units work in conjunction with each other.in particular the infrastructure of the GETHAM plant will ensure that any ideas are prototyped.
Briefly mention GETHAM factory laboratories;
1-Jewelry design and modeling laboratories
There are many devices related to jewelry design Laboratoriy(laser marking, 3D resin printer, casting, 3/4 axis CNC, rubber molding, ...) these devices will be modeled and produced with original designs in jewellery sector.
2-Shoe, leather design and modeling laboratory;
In Shoes, Leather, bag sector, With color 3D scanner and detailed leather processing devices,all kinds of design and prototyping can be done.
3-Reverse engineering and innovation laboratory;
GETHAM Factory the most up-to-date 3D scanners available in the Reverse Engineering Laboratory. With these scanners, solid models of existing products are scanned in mesh cloud and transferred to licensed software and prototypes are produced by developing desired innovative designs on products.
4-High Technology Hybrid Manufacturing and Modeling Laboratory;
The most advanced technological machines in our country, 3D Printer (Professional + 3 Different Technology), 5 Axis CNC(for very specific and precise operations), CNC router and Silicon molding technology are used.
5-Electronic card and PCB Design Laboratory
PCB card design and prototyping, and software and automation support is provided at the same time.
