George Bacovia University, Bacau

George Bacovia University is a private higher education institution, founded in 1992 and accredited by law 237/2002. It has three faculties and each faculty has several specializations. The faculty of Accounting and Business Data Administration, Accounting and Business Data Administration specialization, Finance- Banking specialization; the Faculty of Business administration, Marketing specialization and Economy of Commerce, Tourism and Services; the Faculty of Management, Management specialization, Public Administration specialization, Social Work specialization and Law specialization. It prepares Bachelor degree students as well as Master degree students for the above mentioned fields. At present there are about 3.000 students enrolled in the university programs, guided by a teaching staff formed of about 55 members. The mission of the university is to offer teaching programs, to develop research activities and services at higher standards of quality.
