Erifo - Ente per la RIcerca e la FOrmazione

ERIFO - Ente di Ricerca e Formazione was founded in 2000 as an association that operates in the field of training for young people and adults, then extending the scope of activities to professional training, employment services and the recognition, validation and certification of non-formal and informal learning.

Since 2012, the services provided by ERIFO have focused on of non-vocational and vocational adult education, whether of a formal, non-formal or informal nature, with a common strategic goal: increasing the employability, empowerment and resilience of people looking for work or want to improve their employability.

The services provided by ERIFO can be traced back to three lines of action, interconnected and strategically inter-functional to the achievement of the association's institutional purposes, aimed mainly at young people and adults, identified under the regional and European legislation as "disadvantaged people".
The 3 line of actions afore mentioned are the followings:

a) Training that aims to equip people with knowledge, know-how, skills and/or competences required in particular occupational sector or more broadly on the labour market (service accredited by the Lazio Region), in order to contribute into guaranteeing a high-quality and inclusive employment conditions
Non-vocational aducation Initial and continuing training, in order to support of lifelong learning, for the enhancement and recovery of key and transversal skills, as well as for the growth of active citizenship;

b) Employment services (accredited by the Lazio Region) aimed at the job placement, by giving guidance on certification, in the framework of the labour market policies;

c) Services focused on the recognition, validation and certification of non-formal and informal learning (accredited by the Lazio Region) to help modernize vocational education and training systems and to promote re-skilling e up-skilling for all.

As part of the Erasmus + Programme 2014-2020 (OID E10064060) ERIFO has carried out 36 projects as a partner and 7 projects as a leader. It hosted over 60 people on the move and sent about 100 students and staff trainers abroad for training experiences. ERIFO has carried out two projects with the Regulatory Authorities of training and work of Lazio (Lazio Region): 554341-EPP-1-2014-1-IT-EPPKA2-SSA - which resulted into a new professional profile, now in the catalogue in the repertoire of Lazio Region as Expert in the management of reuse and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and 2017-1-IT01-KA202 -006161, from which the proposal for a new specific qualification of WBL tutor was born. Since 2015 he has been working with La Sapienza and Unitelma-University of Rome; it has links with employer organizations (Confartigianato) and trade unions (national Cisl); works in agreement with social-health and social-assistance structures; has active memoranda of understanding with third sector organizations, voluntary and social promotion associations.

In the former Multiannual Financial Framework, ERIFO has consolidated and developed a network of partners in Europe which today can count on a network of about 60 organizations; it is a member of the EVTA network and partner of the ALL DIGITAL network. At national level, it has signed memoranda of understanding with 40 institutes and schools of all levels (elementary - middle and high school - for professional and adult training) for the exploitation of digital products made for teachers, trainers and educators, in within the scope of European projects and in particular within the 2017-1-IT02-KA201-036749 project.
