EOI Salamanca

The School of Languages of Salamanca is a public centre of education, under the auspices of the Department of Education of the Government of Castilla and Leon. It is in the city of Salamanca, of 180 000 inhabitants, in the north-west of the country. Salamanca is well connected with other cities such as Madrid and Valladolid, which offer flights to all the important European cities. The city has a well-known cultural ambience, with a significant student population: approximately 30 000 who are studying in either of the two universities situated in Salamanca. In addition there are an important number of Erasmus students who choose our university to complete their studies in another country, which has made Salamanca one of the most sought after destinations in the whole of Europe.

The School of Languages of Salamanca is ten minutes walk from the centre of the city, and adjacent to the University campus and the central bus station.

Many of the 4000 students of the School of Languages are university students, both Spanish are other nationalities, which have the oportunity to learn in a multilingual and multicultural context. The School is also very active in the social life of the city, and organizes multiple events both cultural and in solidarity with other institutions such as the Salamanca Council, the University, Europe Direct, libraries, the EURES network, CFIE and high schools.
