En Ergw functions according to the Law N. 4019/ 2011 as it is valid today.
The action of En Ergw is defined by its articles of association and it is not dependent on any institution that is relevant in any way with the public sector, or in any form of private organization with speculative character.

‘En Ergw’ develops many of its own activities however at the same time it focuses on the creation of collaborative initiatives and programs of other institutions. In order to achieve this, it is promoting the collaboration between citizens, organizations, foundations, government institutions, scientific, political, cultural and other social groups, and the private sector. En Ergw's projects aim toward reinforcement of bonds with other significant exponents of cultures and societies all over the world, with the emphasis being on European countries.
