Employment Department - City Council of Valencia

Through its Employment department, the City Council of Valencia is comited to fight unemployment by increasing the employability of its citizens. The department has created its own job agency and offers various training programs adapted to respond to the needs of the local Valencian labour market. These training programs are particularly aimed at vulnerable groups like young people, women, over 50, and long term unemployed people.
Also, the Employment department has got a many years experience in participating in European projects such as URBACT, Leonardo Da Vinci, LLP strategic partnerships, etc.
