Divan Research and Education Association was established in Istanbul in 2005 and has carried out many national and international activities in line with its founding purposes since its establishment. The Presidency of the Divan Association, which also has a supreme board called the Friendship Divanı, which works as a consultation board, is chaired by Dr. A. Cihangir Isbilir.

OUR INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
DIGITAL DIPLOMACY AND INCLUSİVE PEACE STUDIES FOR YOUTH PLATFORM (2021-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000028862)
In our project, for a more peaceful and communicative world, young generations receive an appropriate education, adopt basic human values, respect different cultures and understandings, and young people adopt communication, diplomacy, and negotiation as problem-solving methods, by taking active roles in society, "Humanitarianism". It is aimed to adopt humanitarian diplomacy enough to define himself as a "Diplomacy Ambassador". In this context, it is aimed to create an awareness-raising platform that can support humanitarian diplomacy and aid activities in order to monitor conflict zones around the world, update them with instant data, and prevent conflicts in these areas.
EUROPEAN YOUNG DIPLOMACY ACADEMY (2021-1-TR01-KA153-YOU-000009903)
Our project created an important platform for young people coming together in a multicultural environment and supported Turkey and project partner beneficiary organizations to fulfill an important function in the development of their countries' global presence, prestige, and public diplomacy. In our project, 30 young people from the Balkans, Black Sea, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and the Middle East came together in Kocaeli for 10 days between 10-19 June 2022. Young people participating in the project shared knowledge in the fields of diplomacy and international relations and gained gains such as teamwork, peer learning, and intercultural tolerance.
YOUNG TURKIYE DIPLOMACY FORUM (2021-2-TR01-KA154-YOU-000040252)
Young Turkey Diplomacy Forum aims to evaluate the challenges, opportunities, and innovative approaches towards diplomatic engagement and solutions in sustainable peace and development service, in order to enable young people, leaders, decision-makers and decision-makers from politics, diplomacy, science, journalism, civil society, business world and other will gather the skills of the constructors together. The Young Turkey Diplomacy Forum to be held as part of our project will explore the horizons of diplomacy on a number of key regional, national, and international thematic issues under the theme of “Innovative Diplomacy”. Within the scope of our project, three meetings will be held in three different cities and the first meeting was held in Ankara between 20-23 October 2022. The second meeting will be held in Istanbul between 2-6 February.
GIVE YOUR HEART TOO (2021-1-TR01-ESC30-SOL-000036569)
With the project, participants will be prepared for the experiential learning and teaching process during the voluntary activities they will carry out. To make young people an information society in particular; professional implementation of the training given to the volunteers in the relevant fields; development of youth social cohesion and team spirit; young people who respect differences and develop empathy and tolerance skills through cultural learning; Being aware of active citizenship, democracy and the right to expression will lead to positive material and moral results, and this will increase social benefit. The scope of the project is aimed to enable young people to become active in the field of participation, develop active citizenship and democracy skills, raise awareness of volunteering and duty, and make young volunteers aware of their rights and responsibilities by ensuring their social integration as well as their personal development.
IF THERE ARE WOMEN, THERE IS PEACE (2022-1-TR01-KA154-YOU-000067194)
Our project is aimed to support the active participation of women who are passive victims of wars in peace processes and to raise social awareness among the participating youth. In this context, online and face-to-face training, workshops, and camps will be held. The hybrid training model will be preferred in the workshops to be held with expert trainers. Activities in workshops where interactive and participatory methods will be applied with inclusive and interactive content are working groups, workshops, case studies, open space, and simulation. Since the project aims to be comprehensive in the field of humanitarian diplomacy and peacebuilding, it will be preferable for the participants to be young people who are interested in peace, peacebuilding, human rights, diplomacy, and women's studies and want to gain experience in these fields.
VIRTUAL DIPLOMACY AMBASSADORS (2022-1-TR01-KA152-YOU-000065998)
In today's world, there is a need to raise awareness of young people as virtual diplomacy ambassadors on diplomacy, digital diplomacy, and humanitarian diplomacy through social media. Based on this need, our project aims to use social media effectively and correctly in the context of humanitarian diplomacy, to contribute to the spread of youth among young people, and to develop their responsibility and initiative skills. By using non-formal education techniques and methods in our project, in which a total of 38 young people between the ages of 18-30 from Turkey and five foreign countries will participate; Activities such as Youtpass Training, Project Writing Workshop, Active Citizenship Workshop, Humanitarian Diplomacy Workshop, Digitalizing World and Digital Diplomacy Workshop, Peace Building Workshop, New Media Workshop will be held.
