Cukurova Development Agency, exception of other activities for regional development, is a leader organisation in Cukurova Region for improving entrepreneurship at regional level. Agency conducted a set of programmes that support entrepreneurial ecosystem at the regional level. Start-up Weekend events, mentorship trainings, creative entrepreneurship trainings and innovation academy trainings to the SMEs are some of the agency activities. Also, agency offers business idea development supports, consultancy to SMEs on innovation, marketing and internationalization to the new entrepreneurs and SMEs. Furthermore, as a regional public authority, agency has strong partnership with Chamber of Commerces, Universities, technology transfer offices, incubators and municipalities on entrepreneurship development programmes.
Cukurova Development runs an Entrepreneurship Result Oriented Program (2021-2023) with 20 components. In addition to regular project grants for ecosystem actors, CDA invests in technology entrepreneurs with its $10 million funds and helps Turkish startups grow globally by taking them to international events.

Projects and Activities;

• Young Entrepreneurs Support Program: The aim of the program is to strengthen the technology-based entrepreneurship ecosystem by increasing ventures with innovative and technological products/services. As a result of the program, a total of 5 million support has been provided to 11 young entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish their companies and create Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for their ventures."
• FRIT II-Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration (ENHANCER) Project: The objective of ENHANCER project is to contribute to the inclusion of Syrians Under Temporary Protection in Turkey to the Local Host Communities through livelihood and employment opportunities.
• FRIT II Social Entrepreneurship Empowerment and Cohesion Program (SEECO): The project aims to empower women socio-economically and to provide social cohesion with a focus on social entrepreneurship. Financing support social entrepreneurs, providing grants for the incubation and acceleration of new social enterprises, and Mentoring and coaching services support eligible social enterprises. Establishment of 70 livelihood facilities that would benefit an estimated 7,000 beneficiaries in target provinces to develop capacity for social entrepreneurship and facilitate social cohesion activities.
• Erasmus +: The enhancement of Youth Entrepreneurship in Rural (EYE in RURAL): The project ” EYE in RURAL- The enhancement of Youth Entrepreneurship in Rural ” aims to enhance skills and competencies of youth on entrepreneurship in rural areas besides to provide the online training module and pilot training for youth by promoting them entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.
• Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia Finance: Comprehensive Local Development Project: The project aims to contribute to local development by encouraging the emergence of micro-enterprises and new services in the tourism sector. Within the program, 3 webinars were conducted, entrepreneurship training sessions and idea development workshops were organized with the participation of approximately 100 individuals. Fifteen teams with commercially viable business ideas were identified, and a bootcamp program was carried out. Among these teams, 10 were selected to participate in the mentorship program. Feedback sessions were organized to evaluate the pitching presentations prepared by the entrepreneurs. At the end of the program, a demo day was held, during which a jury selected the top three teams.
• Within the scope of the 'Entrepreneurship Capacity Enhancement for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration Project,' contributions have been made to the preparation of the 'Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Network Analysis - Adana' and 'Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Network Analysis - Mersin' reports, as well as the 'Migration and Development with a Focus on Entrepreneurship in Çukurova' report under the SUMMIT Project.
• The 70-hour 'Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp,' which started in December 2020, has been completed. Through the program, participants have improved their skills at a foundational level in React, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• As part of the Bigg4Tech program, led by Sabancı University Inovent Inc. and in partnership with Çukurova Technopark, mentoring was provided to 16 entrepreneurs by Agency experts.
• Civil Society Dialogue-Enhancing the Efficiency of the Financial Assistances Provided by Development Agencies in respect to Regional Socio-Economic Development with CFCU/TR2011/0135.15-06 identification number.
