Children and Youth First

CYF is NGO founded by Ms. Haushala Thapa at the age of 21 when she helped to rescue 14 children from a corrupted orphanage based in Balaju Nepal.

CYF currently helps to run a school dedicated to underprivileged children's education, where "access" to education is given the main priority. As we believe a child has a right to education but without access this is not possible. CYF involves participation of youth for issues to aware children on environment,health,abuse and social issues that need awareness at a young age.

CYF focuses on educating children with quality education where a child is given the opportunity to learn through extra curricular activities as well. In a developing country like Nepal, families with more then one child that come from low economic background are faced to choose which child they should send to school. We want to change this and make education the main priority.

CYF utilizes creative tools of education by using art, music, drama, photography, dancing and approach that helps a child learn through their equal participation and helps them learn visually too. We believe education should be fun and creative, specially for children who come challenged background.

CYF also carries out skill training for single mother of the children, women and youth where they are given the opportunity to learn and work. Through this we have knitting, sewing and craft making. Their products are sold that helps to benefit them and the education project of CYF. The founder helps designs various items and pitch in ideas that help women and young people work with freedom.
