WHO ARE WE?
The Centre for Family Support in Warsaw is a municipal institution which organizes educational and therapeutic activities aimed at family support. We offer:
1) 9 day care centers for children aged 6-18
2) Support for parents and carers
3) A toddler center
4) A senior center
5) psycho-pedagogical trainings and psycho-educational workshops
Our mission is to encourage various local communities to integrate and participate in our activities, as well as promote youth volunteering.
We cooperate with many cultural institutions, schools, non-governmental organizations and other socio-therapeutic institutions.
We work with families from disadvantaged backgrounds, who often experience financial hardship. Some of our students suffer from psychological and behavioral problems.
The Centre for Family Support in Warsaw seeks to continue the tradition of educational institutions created in the first half of the twentieth century by a charismatic teacher, Kazimierz Lisiecki, often called by his pupils ‘Grandpa’. We have been supporting young people in their personal development for over eighty years, trying to help them use their own potential and build confidence and self-esteem.
We are looking for partners to organize youth exchanges. See more: Erasmus plus invitation PDF
