Centro Servizi Volontariato Brescia

The task of the Volunteer Service Centers is to work with the territory at the service of the community to make it more supportive, welcoming and attentive to the common good, through the support and cultural development of volunteering. A mandate aimed at promoting social change and making volunteer social development agent.
In order to better fulfill this task, as early as 1997, the Lombardy CSVs began to meet to coordinate with each other, carrying out some common projects and building synergies, and in 2001 they gave life to the Regional Coordination which is today CSVnet Lombardia. The Coordination has over time assumed the function of contributing to the implementation of the institutional objectives of the Service Centers of Lombardy, respecting the autonomy of each and through the exchange of experience and expertise between the centers of the different territories, organizing and promoting joint initiatives in favor of the Centers and of volunteering in general.

CSV Brescia is the local office, in charge of supporting third sector organisations seated in the city of Brescia and its province (about 1,3 million people).
