Catholic School Centre "Petar Barbaric"

The Catholic School Centre "Petar Barbarić", with its elementary school and gymnasium, is one of the oldest schools in central Bosnia established back in 1882. The School Centre belongs to the Association of schools "School for Europe", with other Catholic schools centres in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Although founded by religious body back in the 19th century, the school is today is religiously and ethnically diverse, and this is important in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the school centre promotes openness and cross-cultural cooperation with different institutions and organizations in the country and abroad.

The school has participated in Erasmus Plus exchanges of pupils in Austria (annually, since 2016) and Poland, regional youth cooperation initiatives with RYCO and other programmes for youth.

The school has capacities to organize and host groups in Travnik (outdoor activities, dormitory, kitchen etc.)

We are looking forward to establish cooperation with organizations and schools across Europe.
