Our school's full name is BTSO Ali Osman Sönmez Sosyal Bilimler Lisesi . We have about 370 students aged from 14 to 18 and 25 teachers. Our school is located in the centre of Bursa province which is the one of biggest cities in Turkey. It is just one and half hour distance to Sabiha Gökçen Airport in İstanbul. The education period in our school is 5 years ,which is different from other secondary schools. Students attend preparatory classes in their first year ,in which they have 20 hours English classes .They also have German and French classes in each year of their education. After the preparatory year, they have 4 years of education in the last two years of which they take classes of Social Sciences especially Literature,Geography,Philosophy,History ,ICT more than the other secondary schools. As a result of these, our students have the chance of developing their foreign language skills as well as their skills in social sciences.
