CyberMentors provides young people aged 11-18 who are faicing issues surrounding bullying, violence and wellbeing with access to a safe network of online peer and professional support. We work directly with young people helping them to develop the skills and confidence required to become a peer mentor both offline in their schools and communities and online at www.cybermentors.org.uk
MiniMentors take the highly successful CyberMentors model and targets a younger audience of 5-11 year olds. It focuses on promoting friendship, wellbeing and citizenship and developing children’s understanding of sensitive issues such as bullying and safety. In addition to peer mentoring training, the MiniMentors programme engages parents and professionals, using a holistic approach to stop bullying before it starts.
These programmes have been shown to have a significant positive impact on the lives of the vulnerable young people we work with.
