Associazione Politea

Politea Association was estabilished in 1993 in Palermo thanks to a group of professionals, as a structure of planning, coordination, and management for vocational training activities. It is accredited by Regione Sicilia and UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certified in 2005. Strengthening the scientific-didactic area
during the last years, has allowed the Politea Association to get a quite good importance among training institutions in Sicily, and to offer, at a regional, national and community level, training plans concerning the primary sectors in which its activity is structured around. The goal of the Association is to support the development through actions aimed to the requalification of human resources and the training process of professionals able to combine the territorially oriented logic of social action with the enterprise culture in
Sicily. In particular the Association activities include:
• Promoting, planning, organizing and managing activities concerning: the training of employed and unemployed people, new businessmen, managers; the vocational qualification and requalification of Italian workers, coming from community and non community countries, working in Italy and
abroad; training projects connected with international cooperation plans in collaboration with the Regione Siciliana, the Ministry of Labour, THE E.E.C and/or other Regional, State, Community and International Bodies.
• Supervising the vocational training and supporting initiatives of young people with a vocational qualification, in order to constitute an operative commitment in the Member States of the E.E.C and in the European Council countries;
• Supervising the coordination and the support to local initiatives, with a particular reference to courses of technical, legal, and social culture for administrators and civil servants.
• Establishing a connection among compulsory schools, high schools, and University to The goal of the Association is to support the development through actions aimed to the requalification of human resources and the training process of professionals able to combine the territorially oriented logic of social action with the enterprise culture in Sicily.
• Promoting, creating, organizing, and managing diploma courses, schools with specific aims, schools of specialization, advanced training courses, doctorate courses, university masters, and all other cultural and educational
activities in accordance with the existing legislative and statutory provisions, even in collaboration with the M.I.U.R (the Ministry of Education) and centers of excellence.
• Developing actions in support of the job as an employment center or as any other agency involving the Ministerial intermediation and accreditation too.
• Promoting, projecting, organizing, and managing vocational training activities financed by public and private bodies in every economic sectors, in particular in tourism sector, in acknowledgement of the Regional Tourism and the Regional Agriculture and Forestry.
• Promoting activities of vocational guidance.
• Arrangement of teaching equipment and handouts spread throughout the internet and the Distance Learning.
