associazione Le Fate onlus

Le Fate Onlus is a non profit social welfare organization born in 1999 in Verona.
The organization aims to be a pedagogical space, which main goal is to curb the scholastic waste and to promote the welfare of children and families, italians and foreingners ones.
Another main goal of the association is the integration of inmigrants, particularly women.

The association set itself the target of improving the social environment in which the children and their families live, through the creation of stable relations between the different social-pedagogical activities in that area. It tries to work through the prevention of the minor's unease, the support of the parents, the social integration and the intercultural education and it collaborates with the social services and institutions to accomplish its goals.

At the same time Le Fate Onlus dedicates itself to a program thought for helping women with migration experience to integrate themselves in the Verona area. In this way, they created a sort of multi-activity and multicultural course in which inmigrant women and their babies, could freely attend to and, most of all, a space which may offer the opportunity to share everyone's experience through the execution of activities dealing with everyone's origin culture. As a matter of fact, this space aims to the women's empowerment, that is reached through the development of manual skills, to learn how to teach their knoledge, by learning the Italian Language and in this way, learning to esteem themselves.
