Association "Youth for development of Lyaskovets"

SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" is one of the largest youth NGOs in Region Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria and has serious operational capacity for the successful implementation of the projects under Erasmus+ Program.
Aims of association:
1. Supporting the development of civil society and inclusion of young people to its democratic values and principles and promoting the free exchange of ideas and information, intellectual values and models of cooperation;
2. Development a modern and applicable education (non formal and formal), and model of training for young people;
3. Involvement of young people in voluntary activities and initiatives for protecting the environment
The target group of association: young people aged between 15 and 29, from the territory of the district of Veliko Tarnovo.
Human Resources SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" has 430 members (young people aged between 18 to 29) in the association work also 72 volunteers. The number of permanent personal full employed in the association are 7 people.
Technical and material resources: the activity of the association is very well secured. The SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" has:
- Two furnished and equipped offices. Main office (37 square meters) in the town of Lyaskovets. The second office (21 square meters) is located in the building of the Youth House in Veliko Tarnovo. Both offices are furnished with desks, chairs, computers, laser MFPs and have Internet
- Experience in the management of youth projects: the association has experience in the development and management of projects financed by EU programs and national programs. The association has been a partner in more than 70 projects funded by the Erasmus +
- Financial capacity: The association has over 10 000 euros in it’s account, which can be used for partnership in the projects.
- International partnerships: the association has sustained partnerships with 17 international organizations from the EU. The association is a member of YOUТNET network and an associate member of IDA Network;
- National Partnerships - the association is a member of Forum Civic Participation (the largest alliance of NGOs in Bulgaria) and RMA "Yantra".
SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" has gained solid experience in the field of European projects. With the support of the European Programme “Youth in Action” 2007 -2013 and Erasmus+ the association implemented projects under Training Courses, Youth Exchanges, Youth Initiatives.
SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" is well familiar with the project topic and work on the problem at the local and regional level. The association is the only organization that in 2015 made the official sociological research on the topic of the project among young people in the region of Veliko Tarnovo.
SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" has established a partnership with the Municipality Lyaskovets, Municipality Veliko Tarnovo and District administration of Region Veliko Tarnovo;
SDRUZHENIE "MLADEZHI ZA RAZVITIE NA LYASKOVETS" is the popular, authoritative and recognizable organization of young people within Veliko Tarnovo, which is extremely important in the realization of all youth activities of the projects and to attract local community in the process of project implementation.
