ASPAL - Sardinian Regional Agency for Active Labour Policies is an administrative body of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia – Italy, which is in charge of the management and the supply of active labour policies services. It strongly cooperates with ANPAL, National Agency for Active Labour Policies, and with the Regional Labour, Professional Development, Cooperation and Social Security Department.
The Agency headquarters is located in Cagliari. It has 40 local PES (public employment centres) spread on the island which provide services related to job placement, workers’ training and retraining, inclusion of people with disabilities, support to businesses and employers.
ASPAL develops targeted and tailor-made measures for the integration into the labour market of specific beneficiaries such as NEET, young jobseekers, disabled people and socially disadvantaged groups. It also acts as Regional Labour Market Observatory (linked to the Regional Statistical Service) in order to provide useful data and information for the regional policy-making process and regularly sets recruiting events, labour matching workshops, training sessions, seminars and laboratories, and various activities related to labour policies.
The Agency is involved in many European and international networks, which offer fundraising opportunities aimed at projecting and managing experimental active labour policies.
