Asociación InterAGE creates and promotes different programs, projects, and educational and cultural activities at local and international levels. It places a special focus on formal and non-formal education, active participation and international learning mobility. It promotes activities for all ages to enhance cultural understanding and cohesion, intergenerational interaction, and the critical spirit. It aims to foster a sense of empowerment, active citizenship, and a spirit of entrepreneurship in order to break stereotypes and create positive change. It collaborates with other NGOs, research institutions, universities, professionals and individuals. Apart from the field of youth, InterAGE focuses on the improvement of the welfare of the elderly, active and healthy ageing, and the fight against discriminatory behaviour towards older people (ageism). Through the dissemination of good practices and enriching experiences it hopes to inspire others to act in favour of a more tolerant, open, egalitarian, and intercultural society with European values. It is involved in both KA1 and KA2.
