Currently we are developing in Europe Aid Programme UY-2009-BPP-1105074453 focus on "Violence Prevention on Secondary Schools” in Uruguay along with Dianova Uruguay. We are training teachers to develop a particular tool we have developed to implement emotional and relational learning on education. This programme main objective is to train youngsters on soft skills for Prevention of Violence so that they can create their own workshops at schools and spread this awareness to their environment and avoid social exclusion. We are on year 2 out of 3.
We are also active on prevention of school dropout. Actually, we have created a partnership with an NGO in Costa Rica to develop programs with this objective, working on trainings to transfer skills for employability and empowerment.
Moreover, gender equality and opportunities is one issue we are working in Spain with youngsters, teachers and adults. Besides, we have applied for an Europe Aid Programme in Argentina, to work on gender equality in secondary schools.
Dianova has presence in four Spanish autonomous communities (Madrid, Andalucía, and Navarra & Cataluña) with centres to shelter and foster young and adult people suffering from addictions. It also participates in different networks at national and international level. Our main office is in Madrid.
