ANKARA SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL

Ankara Science High School consists of students selected through exams and they study advanced science and mathematics. There are currently 42 teachers and 532 students. Our school is situated on a campus including student dormitories, school building, five science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Language, Computer) where students can do scientific research, conference hall and sport centre, in the middle of a forest in Ankara, Turkey. Our school students stay at the dormitories, As our school is a boarding school we have students from all over Turkey, and some of them are from socio-economically disadvantaged areas, whose parents do not have regular jobs and for that reason they have financial problems. We are planning to consider the socio-economic situation of students when we are choosing them. We are also going to work with equal number of boy and girl students. As a result, our school is a perfect place to organize this project since we can observe the process and result of it directly. We want to participate in this project because we want our school and students to integrate with Europe and learn European languages. Our school administration, the teachers and the students are willing to join lifelong learning programmes.
We are searching partner for our project. We are writing Erasmus+ KA2 project. We have experienced that likes project.
Technology is very important in these days. We use It everywhere ın our daily lifes
The reason why we have chosen this subject is that technology has a great influence in our daily lives, Our main purpose is to make the lessons more fun, easier to understand and improve the quality of the lessons by using tengible examples ,questionnares , short videos related to the lessons, voice recordings and anecdots with the help of technology.
We aim to force the students to join the lessons more, prevent the paper waste in tests and exams and compensate the lessons for the absent students that could not attend the lessons.
The future of a country depends on the young population and its quality, in other words it depends on the education quality. So our goal is to increase the education level.
