Angol English Club

Our informal group of young people gathers learners of English at our language school. Their age range is 13-20 and their common interest is the British, European and global culture. Our informal group has been working since March 2011, and in July 2011 we took part in a tri-lateral youth exchange project in Cardiff with youth from Wales and Iceland. The project was entitled "Youth Expression Through Images" and focused on social problems as seen through photography, video and animation. In February 2015, we co-organised along with 9 other partners, a training ent. "Let's talk about the unspoken" in Ireland, which focused on solving problems at youth exchanges. Two of our youth workers took part in this training and gained valuable experience for future youth work. Our goal is to organise leg two of our first exchange project as well as join other projects generally related to culture.
