AIODD

After 10 years of commitment to the Millennium Goals, and the creation of 12 branches, AIODM (International Alliance for the Millennium Development Goals) changed its name in 2016, to adapt to the new post-2015 agenda of the UN and became AI-ODD. The International Alliance for the Sustainable Development Goals (IA-ODD) continues to advocate for the United Nations Development Programme Development Program (UNDP), the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with its branches based in France, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Benin, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo
Congo, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Togo, Madagascar, Morocco, Tunisia Madagascar, Morocco, Tunisia, Canada (until January 1st), India, and soon in Guinea Conakry. Its presence is confirmed in some twenty countries, either with branches registered with the authorities or through focal points, which will register soon. The members have all committed volunteers, and especially very operational to act on the ground for the betterment of the well-being of the populations, especially the most vulnerable, but also in the framework of actions to strengthen the power of action of leaders. AI-ODD, therefore, acts both at the level of decision-makers as well as citizens. It is important to note that we constantly communicate on the global and holistic approach.

We try to make people understand the interdependence between the goals and the fact that the SDGs are
universal and concern countries in the South as much as in the North. In Europe, some people, even at the highest
even at the highest level, do not feel concerned. AI-ODD is not a funder, but a "facilitator" that allows various actors to achieve the SDGs. We also help to projects on the ground for the realization of certain missions (e.g. Millennium Village of Fankassa). Overall, more than 1,300 actions have been undertaken between 2006, since its creation to 2021, with 53 concrete projects carried out in the field (e.g. support for battered women and to
and to create a community of resilience near Abidjan). The Alliance, created in Switzerland, has had its headquarters in Annemasse, since June 2020.
In collaboration with civil society actors, and despite the COVID-19 epidemic, AI-ODD has continued to be very active to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Goals.
