obre't'ebre

Obre’t’ebre is a non profit youth organisation, created in 2005 during a Future Capital project. Our aim is to promote activities between young people of Ebro regions, which is a rural and an outskirts area in Catalonia, in order to face the lack of training and advice in solidarity, international volunteering, cultural exchanges or European mobility.
Our main objectives are:
• to promote social integration, equality and solidarity between young people through social, artistic, environmental, cultural, of integration community based and/or sporting projects, at local, national or international level;
• to encourage participation of Ebro regions young people with the main objectives of promoting tolerance, intercultural and social awareness; To educate citizens to be socially active and aware of social needs;
• to dynamize rural areas. Internationally, we host and send European volunteers, organize meetings and youth exchanges, working holidays, cooperation projects... In a local and regional area, we organize workshops, talks, training sessions, leisure time activities, European and international awareness, collaboration with public and private organisations …

obre't'ebre has 2 current projects:

  • European Solidary Corps

    We are hostig 10 young people per year in different hosting organizations. We are also preparing groups for youth exchanges. Looking for reliable partners.

  • Volunteering hosting project in Catalonia-12 months

    Looking for an ECS Volunteers . Attending to young people, organizing activities for the youth and manage the social network and environmental NGO's.

The project will be about survival in nature for young people between 16 and 19 years old.

the project is about creating consciousness about eco friendly practicies at local level and experiment about how to create a sustanaible life style.

MYW Youth and rurality 2025

Our main aim is to inspire youth workers on the topics of youth and rurality in Terres de l'Ebre.
