The massive open online course includes organised learning resources covering all 3 Key-actions of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme. You can learn any time you want on your computer or mobile device and at your pace.
Since 2015, SALTO-YOUTH.net in cooperation with several Erasmus+ National Agencies offers an online course about Erasmus+ funding opportunities for youth. The course aims for unlimited participation and provides interactive course materials such as videos, online forums, quizzes, reading lists and publication references. In addition to this, MOOC provides an opportunity for learners to create networks and build partnerships among participants. Since its launch, more than 10.000 participants have enrolled in this course.
The target group of the MOOC course are project managers, youth workers, youth leaders, anybody interested in Erasmus+ funding opportunities for the youth field coming from Erasmus+ Programme and Partner countries.
The MOOC is structured into 6 thematic modules:
Each module is structured into 7-9 sessions offering different interactive learning content online, which is uploaded to the Canvas MOOC hosting platform. Participants learn through animated videos, pre-recorded video interviews, videos from projects and educational texts.
The content of the MOOC course is updated regularly to keep up with changes introduced to Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme.
The estimated course commitment is around 3-4 hours per week, for 5-6 weeks duration. The feedback from previous editions of this online course was extremely positive.

For most participants, the MOOC helped them to better understand why and how the Erasmus+: Youth programme has been developed and it gave them the ideas and motivation to go forwards and put their new knowledge into practice.
Facilitators
Laimonas Ragauskas: Laimonas lives in Vilnius, Lithuania and works as a facilitator in the field of non-formal learning and training for various youth work organisations as well as local and European institutions.
Nerijus Kriauciunas: Nerijus lives in Vilnius, Lithuania and works as a freelancer delivering international training activities in the youth work field at local and European Levels.
This E-learning is for unlimited participants from Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme countries, Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU and recommended for Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers, Youth policy makers, Volunteering Mentors...

The fourth edition of the MOOC on Erasmus+ Funding Opportunities for Youth
The fourth edition of the MOOC updated content following the recent changes in KA1 international volunteering activities. The Agency of International Youth Cooperation – Erasmus+ National Agency in Lithuania took over the coordination of this edition of the course. They invested in the visual identity of the course and created digital designs for course promotion on social networks. Other National Agencies from Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein and Spain co-financed this edition of the course.
Two facilitators, Laimonas Ragauskas, Nerijus Kriauciunas were contracted to facilitate the development, implementation and reporting of this edition. In total 2595 participants enrolled into this course, of which 464 (18%) completed the minimum required modules and received their Youthpass Certificate.

In order to support the Structured Dialogue Process and improve the quality of KA3 projects, SALTO Youth Participation RC in cooperation with E+ National Agencies from Italy, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, and Iceland added a new module in the MOOC focusing on the KA3 Structured Dialogue projects.
Two facilitators, Laimonas Ragauskas, Nerijus Kriauciunas were contracted to facilitate the development, implementation and reporting of this edition. One expert, Wout Van Caimere, provided input when developing content of this module. In total 3183 participants enrolled into this course, of which 611 (19%1) completed the minimum required modules and received their Youthpass Certificate.

Given this success of the first edition, and the high number of participants, the SALTO-YOUTH Participation Resource Centre, in cooperation with the Erasmus+ National Agencies of Belgium (FR), France, Hungary, Iceland, the Republic of Ireland and Poland decided to re-launch the MOOC.The second edition took place from 2nd to 29th November 2015.
In total, 4,022 participants enrolled into this second course. 722 (18%) of them completed the minimum required modules and received their Youthpass Certificate. Once again, the majority of participants came from Erasmus+ Programme (82%) and Partner countries (17%).

In cooperation with Erasmus+ YiA National Agencies from Belgium (FR), France, Hungary, Iceland, the Republic of Ireland, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, the first edition was launched on4 May and ended on 1 June 2015. The two first editions were structured into 5 modules including a general overview of E+ Programme, the KA1 and the application procedures.
Three facilitators, Laimonas Ragauskas, Pieter Jan Uyttersprot and Nerijus Kriauciunas, were contracted to design, develop and facilitate this online course, in cooperation with the SALTO Participation Resource centre and the Partner Erasmus+ National Agencies. The objectives of the MOOC on Erasmus+ Funding Opportunities for Youth were to learn about the philosophy of Erasmus+, to prepare and to develop a project, matching formal and minimum quality requirements, and to create space for networking and building up knowledge about Erasmus+.
In total, 3,714 participants enrolled for this first edition. 614 (17%) of them completed the minimum required modules and received their Youthpass Certificate.
