Whatever kind of evaluation strategy you have, there are always many instances of unplanned, informal evaluation going on inside a course – and this course was no exception! Some of it is serious (a small group of participants staying put in a café and comparing impressions of the workshop on intercultural learning), some of it is just people having fun, like the song the participants sang during the farewell party!

And if you want to join in, here are the words:
SING A SONG OF SITGES!
Oh, Mama I really want to phone ya
We’re not so far from Barcelonya
In fact we’re here in sea town Sitges
Working on youth exchanges
We’ve all got the competence
Which we can say without pretence
Yes the job has been well done
We all know our Action One!
Anna, Sonja, Jose and Olaf
Are not the ones really for a laugh
They’ve had us working that’s the truth
On this programme they call YOUTH!
We understand evaluation’s
A way to check our creations
But we think its so unfair
To fill out all these questionnaires!
One of the issues that’s been burning
Is the one of intercultural learning..
But now there’s something left to say
MUCHAS GRACIAS to Jose!!!
Chorus (x2)
We haven’t had a drop to drink
In fact we’ve had too much to think
But now there’s one thing left to say
MUCHAS GRACIAS to Jose!!!
