Are you a youth worker, trainer, or leader looking to boost youth employability and inclusion through entrepreneurship? Join us in Chisinau, Moldova, for the "Entrepreneurship & Employment in Youth Work" training course, 10-14 December 2024!

Youth@Work Partnership, an institutional alliance of 13 Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres, invites 24 participants from across Europe, including youth workers, trainers, project managers, youth policy makers, and researchers. Together, we will explore innovative approaches to foster entrepreneurial skills, create employment opportunities, and promote social inclusion among young people.

Why Participate?

Entrepreneurship and employment are essential for empowering young people, especially those facing social exclusion. This training course will offer practical tools, strategies, and resources to help participants support youth in overcoming challenges and achieving sustainable livelihoods.

Objectives:

  • Promote entrepreneurship as a tool for social inclusion. Understand how youth work can foster entrepreneurial mindsets that empower marginalized young people.
  • Explore employment strategies. Learn about innovative practices and resources for enhancing youth employability and access to the labor market.
  • Foster collaboration. Network and exchange ideas with youth professionals from various countries, building partnerships to advance entrepreneurship and employment initiatives.
  • Equip youth workers. Gain practical skills and methodologies to inspire and guide young people towards meaningful social entrepreneurship and job opportunities.

What to Expect?

  • In-Depth Sessions, explore entrepreneurship and employment strategies tailored to socially excluded youth.
  • Expert Insights, learn from professionals in youth work, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion.
  • Practical Workshops, engage in hands-on activities to integrate entrepreneurial skills into youth work practices.
  • Cultural Exchange, engage in cross-cultural discussions and reflections to gain a better understanding of different approaches to youth employment and social entrepreneurship..

Profiles of Participants: 

  • Youth workers, NGO representatives, actively involved in supporting young people's initiatives in the field of youth employment and social entrepreneurship. 
  • Those willing to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in the field of youth employment and youth social entrepreneurship. 
  • The training course will accommodate 24 participants from both Programme countries and Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU, creating a dynamic and enriching exchange of ideas and practices.

Before applying please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. NB! Learn about possible participation fee and other relevant rules.

Costs

Participation fee

Participants from Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine) will not pay participation fee. Participants from the Programme Countries are requested to contact their National Agency in order to clarify this issue. It will depend on each NA's policy.

Accommodation and food

The hosting SALTO EECA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. 

Travel reimbursement

SALTO EECA will be able to cover travel costs for participants from Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine).
Participants from the Programme Countries, please contact your National Agency (NA) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. 

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
