Join our Study Visit in Baku, Azerbaijan, focusing on Youth Social Entrepreneurship! Explore youth-driven initiatives, exchange ideas, and empower young changemakers to drive positive community transformation.

Youth social entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for addressing societal challenges while fostering innovation and leadership among young individuals. By engaging in social entrepreneurship, young people not only develop valuable entrepreneurial skills but also contribute to building more sustainable and inclusive communities. 

Participants of the study visit will have the opportunity to visit local organizations and initiatives in Baku dedicated to youth social entrepreneurship. Through site visits, workshops, and discussions, attendees will gain insights into successful social entrepreneurship models, learn about available resources and support networks, and exchange best practices with peers from different countries. 

Learning Objectives of the Study Visit: 

  • Exchange strategies, methods, and resources on the topic of youth social entrepreneurship. 
  • Explore ways to integrate social entrepreneurship into youth work practices. 
  • Promote collaboration and networking opportunities among participants from various backgrounds and contexts. 
  • Make people understand why it's important to see how youth workers can help young people get jobs and start their own businesses. 
  • Create a place where participants can work together and share their experiences to keep helping each other learn and grow.

Profiles of Participants: 

  • Youth workers, NGO representatives, actively involved in supporting young people's initiatives in the field of social entrepreneurship. 
  • Those willing to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in the field of youth social entrepreneurship. 
  • The study visit will accommodate 24 participants from both Programme countries, creating a dynamic and enriching exchange of ideas and practices.

Participation fee

Participants from the Programme Countries are requested to contact their National Agency in order to clarify this issue. It will depend on each NA's policy.

Accommodation and food

The hosting SALTO EECA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food. 

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your National Agency (NA) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses. 

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
