Participants: 20 youth workers from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries

Covered topics: youth leadership, development of leadership skills through gamification, gamification principles, active citizenship

AIM AND OBJECTIVES

The Training Course aims to empower youth workers with leadership skills and gamification techniques and tools to provide quality activities to young people supporting their professional development in leadership becoming future leaders, doers and change makers within their communities.

Objectives:

  • To develop youth workers skills in the field of youth leadership
  • To explore the meaning and principles of gamification in developing leadership skills of young people
  • To use games based learning approaches in youth work, particularly for developing youth leadership skills
  • To create a space for youth workers to use Gamification techniques and non-formal education methods in creating high quality youth activities

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

If you are active in an organization and you are directly working with young people this Erasmus+ training course is for you.

Check the list of eligibility before you apply:

  • over 22 years old;
  • active youth worker;
  • actively involved in a youth organization.
  • interested in the field of youth leadership

The course will primarily be aimed at participants over 22 years old (there is no upper age limit), part of an NGO, youth centers, educational institutions, etc. The course is open to youth workers and all those who have a professional interest in the field of youth work and non-formal education. Also, participants must be interested in the topic of youth leadership, soft skills, gamification and non-formal education

Accommodation and food

The project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme. Meals, accommodation and activities are fully covered.

Travel reimbursement

Regarding the Erasmus+ rules, we are able to cover travel costs up to:

Between 100 and 499 KM: 180 EUR per participant - Bulgaria, North Macedonia.

Between 500 and 1999 KM: 275 EUR per participant- Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Netherlands, Hungary, Turkey, Liechtenstein.

Between 2000 and 2999 KM: 360 EUR per participant - Finland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Norway.
