The YES for progress project aims to increase the political and social participation of young people, especially those at risk of social exclusion, at local, regional, national and European levels.
It is often argued that the best place to act for more social and political action among youth workers is in organized civil society. In the context of youth workers at risk of social exclusion, they will often face many far-reaching obstacles, which will put them in a difficult position. Failure to offer such youth groups opportunities to participate puts them at risk of being vulnerable and further ostracized and left behind. Therefore, it is crucial to engage youth workers from all walks of life and especially youth workers that are not reached by more mainstream approaches if harmonious, flexible, and inclusive communities are to be achieved.
Objectives:
To increase the political and social participation of young people, especially those at risk of social exclusion, at local, regional, national, and European levels.
Exchange of good practices in civic education in different countries and develop the capacities of National Youth Councils and other stakeholders involved in civic education practice and policy development,

Develop partnerships and develop initiatives for civic education in partner countries.

There is no participation fee
Accommodation from the project start and end date (early morning of 16th and latest until noon of the 23rd of May) is covered under the Erasmus+ programme. For the early arrivals and later departures, participants can stay in the project venue (if the project team is informed timely) however it is the participants' own responsibility to pay the fee for extra days.
The project's fund under the Erasmus+ programme covers three meals and the coffee breaks.
The travel days are the 16th of May (arrival) and the 23rd of May (departure). During the arrival and departure days, the participants are free to explore the city.
The travel reimbursements are paid on the last day of the training course.
