This online course builds youth social innovators' storytelling skills and digital skills enabiling them to highlight the community impact of their initatives. This will be accomplished by equipping them with advanced digital storytelling techniques.

Empowering Youth Changemakers Through Narrative Power

The You SI Net Reload project, an innovative pilot fostering social innovation and entrepreneurship among young people, is proud to present this eight-week intensive online training on Digital Storytelling for Impact. This course equips participants with the skills to showcase powerful digital stories about their social innovation initiatives.

Harnessing Stories for Post-Pandemic Regeneration (8 Weeks - 3 Hours/Week):

  • Learn to showcase successful social enterprises and innovative actions driving positive change in civil society after the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Master techniques using digital tools for impactful storytelling, fostering wider engagement with your initiatives.
  • Develop a strategic approach: define clear goals, understand your audience, and set measurable objectives to track impact.

Who Should Participate?

This training is designed for youth workers from Spain, Italy, Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, and Egypt.

Building on Your Social Innovation Knowledge (8 Weeks):

  • Master the Art of Digital Storytelling (6 Hours Online Learning): Explore techniques using digital cameras, social networks, and other technologies to create impactful stories that can be easily shared.
  • Harness the Power of Narrative and Networks (Group Discussions): Learn how to leverage storytelling and online communities to create lasting social change through interactive discussions.
  • Develop a Strategic Storytelling Framework (Mini Assignments): Dive into the process of creating a powerful storytelling strategy through practical exercises throughout the course.

Course Structure:

  • Engaging & Flexible Learning: Each week offers a blend of online learning modules (6 hours) and interactive group discussions to support mini assignments.
  • Expert-led Content: Online modules feature curated content and presentations from industry professionals.
  • Weekly Group Activities: Group discussions will foster collaboration and application of learning through mini assignments.
  • Convenient Online Format: The course is delivered online over eight consecutive weeks (3 hours/week), allowing for convenient participation.

Beyond the Training:

Following the course, selected youth workers will be supported by local social innovation experts to implement pilot actions in their selected countries.. These actions will be documented using digital storytelling techniques, showcasing the impact of the You SI Net Reload project.
