"We are all Human!" TC aims to create a learning opportunity for youth workers and youth leaders by developing their competences and understanding on working for the respect of diversity and equality in dignity via human rights education.
The training course is aimed at creating a common platform for youth workers and youth leaders by developing their competences and understanding on working for the respect of diversity and equality in dignity via human rights education, needed to organise and run European youth projects with a focus on promoting diversity. The aims of the training course: - To explore the possibilities to address discrimination and recognise possible solutions to address discrimination and xenophobia influencing young people. - To set up the framework of policies for ensuring social inclusion of young people with disadvantaged background. - To raise competences in running intercultural youth projects. - To plan concrete projects with young people within the Youth in Action Programme. - To share experience and youth work practices. - To reflect on the notion of the human rights. - To introduce and familiarise the participants with COMPASS -a manual on human rights education with young people- and discuss how to adapt it to participants’ realities. - To develop intercultural competences of the participants - To initiate partnership between the organisations by creating the common space for joint work The methodology: The methodology will be based on interactive and inclusive participation of all participants of the partner organisations from EU Youth in Action Programme countries’ young citizens. The programme will be held by professional trainers and facilitators using the experiential learning approach with the integration of games, team work, group discussions, and simulation exercises. Both learning from each other and learning by doing is crucial in the training course. Preparatory team of the event: The preparatory team of the event is composed of the selected partner organisation trainers that have attended the Training of Trainers in Human Rights Education, Advanced Training on Human Rights Education, and TATEM courses of the Council of Europe.
