Join us for the virtual event "Peace Competences in the Times of Crisis:Discussion of the Competency Framework for Peacebuilding and Toolkit Presentation"
When: 6 March, 16:00-18:00 CET
Where: Zoom platform (registered participants will get the link for the conference)
For whom: anybody interested in learning more about peace education, youth workers, educators, representatives of NGOs, youth activists.
The event will include:
- discussion on the role of peace education nowadays and competences needed for promoting a culture of peace in formal and non-formal education settings;
- presentation of the peace practices implemented by the peace fellows in Kosovo, Ukraine, Spain, Poland, Germany, Turkey and France, which will be introduced in the format of Living Library by the participants of the project;
- presentation of the toolkit which includes Competency Framework for Peacebuilders, practical tools and ideas for peace education work in both formal and informal contexts;
- presentation of the outcomes of the long-term project "Peace Fellowship - Promoting culture of peace via strengthening cooperation of youth peace workers”.

The event is organised within the project "Peace Fellowship - Promoting culture of peace via strengthening cooperation of youth peace workers."
The Peace Fellowship project aims to enhance the capacity and knowledge of partner organizations and the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network in the field of human rights, peace education and conflict management.
The project is implemented within the Erasmus + European Union program with the support of the German National Agency in partnership with the organizations Local Peace (Kosovo), Peace Up (Germany), YPAN France (France), Sende (Spain), Center for Eurointiative (Ukraine), YPA Network Poland (Poland), Genc Baris Elcileri Dernegi (Turkey), Youth Peace Ambassadors Network.
