VAP - Value Adding Projects

A training course that will test newly developed resources, tools and standards for developing, administrating and implementing projects within the framework of the Erasmus + programme, ensuring they give added value!
Value Adding Project is a cross sectorial Strategic Partnership, funded by the European Commission's Erasmus + programme. The aim of this project is to fundamentally strengthen NGO’s capacities to take potent/influential actions in the frameworks of the Erasmus + Programme. In order to reach this aim, the project partners (from Norway, Denmark, UK and Italy) have together developed new resources, tools and standards for developing, administrating and implementing projects within the framework of the Erasmus + programme. The focus of these tools and standards are upon ensuring the added value created within such projects. Once developed, these will be tested upon 20 professionals from the four participating countries who are working with Erasmus +, from different educational sectors (youth, adult, higher) during a test course in Norway. The Test Couse will take place in Norway, February 2016. Intercollege are looking for participants from the youth field from Denmark and the UK to take part in the test course. There are 5 places available for participants from the UK and 5 places for Danish participants to take part in the five day test course. Participation is free of charge, food and accommodation will be provided, and a budget of 275€ is available to cover travel costs. During the test course, the following project outputs will be tested User Friendly materials - EU 2020 - ET 2020 - Renewed Framework - Erasmus+ Programme Project Management Standards (specifically designed for donor funded projects) Course Materials Results, Impact and Long-Term Results Project Managers, teachers, NGO leaders working with EU projects will be strengthened within as well as outside the European Union. They are provided with user friendly and easily accessible courses, guides, compendiums and Project Management Standards to improve their capacities of working within the frameworks of EU Programmes. They are enriched with a strengthened and efficient networking system and their work is supported by improved methods and tools. Project Managers, teachers, NGO leaders acquire a better understanding of the EU Policies, their aim and objectives and they have the capacity to align these with the local needs. Through doing so, on the long run, they contribute to a strengthened European Union with dedicated and motivated European citizens. For full details of the VAP project see attachment

Participants from the UK and Denmark will be reimbursed up to 275€ for travel costs Food and Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the course There is no participation fee.
