V4Volunteers - Training for mentors

Training Course

2-8 August 2021 | Warsaw, Poland

A training course for people that want to develop their skills and knowledge on volunteer mentorship.

V4V for Volunteers (V4V) is a 36-months Erasmus+ KA3 project that aims to empower youth workers and support staff who are experienced in the volunteerism

to develop competences related to promotion, implementation and mainstreaming of volunteering projects
το contribute to the legal decision and policy making processes that shapes the voluntary youth work across Europe

This is a training course created in order to build mentors' capacity to support volunteers, and to help them to discover their skills and interest.

Objectives

To clarify the role of the mentor in volunteering projects;
To underline the importance of mentoring in the volunteer's development;
To provide tools and methodologies for present or future mentors to empower young people taking part in volunteering projects (especially those at risk of social inclusion or with fewer opportunities);
To develop strategies for fostering the volunteer's learning path.

Costs

Participation fee

No participation fee.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation and food will be arranged by the sending organisations in accordance to the COVID19 health protocols in place during the action.

In case there is a need for PCR COVID19 test, this cost will be covered too.

Travel reimbursement

Travel will be arranged by the sending organisation based on real cost of tickets. Max amount covered by participant is 400 EUR.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
