ToT | Planet beyond boundaries: Navigating youth projects in times of transformation

Training Course

22-28 March 2025 | Krzyżowa, Poland

How can we support young people in meeting socio-ecological challenges? This training offers a space for exchange, inspiration and the development of innovative methods to trainers, youth workers and youth leaders interested in sustainability topics.

The climate crisis and the rapid loss of biodiversity call for a social-political change in mindset and action as well as a fundamental change in the way our economies work. Our vision is a "good life for all" within the planetary boundaries[1], with the aim of achieving a fair distribution of global prosperity.

The training course „Planet beyond boundaries: Navigating youth projects in times of transformation“ wants to raise awareness to the challenges connected to the breached boundaries of our planet for young people and youth work. Together, we would like to explore planetary boundaries, create a common understanding of sustainability and develop creative ideas to engage young people facing socio-ecological challenges.

Objectives of the training:

  • exploring planetary boundaries and their implications for sustainability and youth work
  • sharing best practices and tools for integrating sustainability topics into youth projects
  • developing creative approaches to engage young people in socio-ecological transformation
  • building a network of trainers, youth workers, and youth leaders in the field of social-ecological transformation including an opportunity to further engage as trainers in future youth projects
